About
Often life has delays to enrich our experiences and give depth to the layers of our lives. Where we end up is not where we may have intended to go! Yet there are no wasted experiences in God’s economy and experiences, both trials and joys, deepen our ability to understand and relate to others.
While there has always been an interest in art, painting, and color, my understanding of careers in art was limited to “painting fine paintings”. I didn’t think I could even draw well, and didn’t know anyone involved full time in art. I ended up in critical care nursing for the next 14 years. Homeschooling 3 children has occupied the next 21 years. Many kinds of volunteer work filled and living in an 1849 farmhouse needing massive renovations, along with my mother-in-law living with us the last 8 years has kept hobbies in the category of luxury. It was only in the last few years, while trying to help my youngest son improve his eye-hand coordination that the latent interest in art was rekindled. This has seemed to be the time, and slowly a career has been developing with many parties contributing, including my mother-in-law. It’s been a blast, and the adventure has taken on a new life of it’s own. Thanks for being part of it!
